Executive Director

South Lane Wheels, City of Cottage Grove
South Lane Wheels (SLW), a non-profit transportation agency based out of Cottage Grove is seeking an Executive Director to be the chief administrator for the management and direction of the organization. The Executive Director reports to a 9 member Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall planning, organizing and implementation of all services of SLW. The Executive Director shall administer the organization within the laws of the State of Oregon and the policies adopted by the Board of Directors. This individual is held accountable for the financial integrity of the organization. Successful applicant must be bondable, have an Oregon Driver’s License in good standing and the ability to obtain an Oregon CDL with a passenger endorsement within six months from the date of hire. Must be able to promote public and employee trust and confidence. Ability to work with various levels of government. Grant writing experience including both process and management. A combination of education and experience necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Experience and ability to manage a program in a non-profit environment is desired.

$45,000-$55,000 a year depending on experience. Fiscal Specialist II

Ride Connection
Ride Connection is a private nonprofit providing transportation to older adults and people with disabilities living in the tri-county area. We are seeking a Full-Time Fiscal Specialist II to join our team.

This position is a confidential position that supports the Chief Financial Officer. The position requires performance of general bookkeeping functions that include maintenance of computerized accounts receivable and accounts payable journals, generation of invoices and checks, reconciliations and preparation of other internal and financial reports. This position also includes an extensive amount of service data collection, analysis, database management, report generation and auditing of service partner reports.

Required Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance of computerized accounting records; knowledge, understanding and experience in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); demonstrates strong computer capabilities, analysis and auditing skills; strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects within specific times. Minimum of a BA degree in a related field or a High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years experience.

IT Project Manager

Ride Connection is a private nonprofit providing transportation to older adults and people with disabilities living in the tri-county area. We are seeking a full-time It Project Manager to join our team.

The IT Project Manager is responsible for providing management, oversight and implementation of information technology projects which include but are not limited to: Strengthening existing data tracking systems; improving the quality, maintenance, and integration of current data; developing a more comprehensive data tracking system; developing data web-based tracking system for Ride Connection service partners. The timeline for projects is May 2010 through June 2011.

Required Qualifications:
BS degree in related field or four to six years of progressively responsible Information Systems management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience; experience working with transportation programs for older adults and people with disabilities in relation to information technology, preferably non-profit based.

Travel Trainer

Ride Connection
Ride Connection is a private nonprofit providing transportation to older adults and people with disabilities living in the tri-county area. We are seeking a full-time travel trainer to teach seniors and people with disabilities to travel safely and independently within the community by using public transportation.

Main responsibilities include: conducting assessments, developing individualized plans of action and conducting one-on-one instruction specific to the individual’s ability level. Bi-lingual applicants desirable.

Required Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, PC skills, knowledge of Metro area and familiarity with public transportation are required.

Government Relations and Association Management

Oregon Transit Association
The Oregon Transit Association (OTA) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants and association managers to provide state lobbying services on behalf of the Association and administrative support for the organization.

Proposals should describe how the following services would be provided to the OTA membership:

Proposals should include a description of the amount of time and cost for providing these services.

Proposals should outline Oregon experience and qualifications in performing work related to the services required for both lobbying and association management. Sealed proposals should be delivered to Linda Lynch, 2681 Garfield St., Eugene, OR 97405, or LindaLynch28@gmail.com no later than April 30, 2010. There will be no formal opening of proposals and facsimile proposals will not be accepted.

Preference will be given to proposals, whether from one firm or two, which address both lobbying and strategic services and association administrative support. Proposals also will be accepted and considered for just the lobbying or just the administrative portions of the contract. The following criteria will be used in evaluating all proposals.

The Association reserves the right to select the proposal that appears to be in its best interests. The Association reserves the right to reject all proposals.
